Individual Therapy for Adults

Anyone can benefit from therapy, be it for personal growth and insight or for more severe difficulties, such as anxiety or depression. Psychotherapy has the potential to provide the client(s) with insight and understanding about one’s self, others and one’s life. However, in order for therapy to be effective it is important that the client(s) remain open to the process of learning, discovering and working through the life experiences (both good and bad) which have, in some way, shaped them and made them who they are. Therapy can therefore be challenging at times, although, when one persists with their therapy it can be a life changing experience that provides new perspective and enhances one’s sense of well being.
